Done this before when hunting. Phone stays at home.

I just tell myself to not break a leg, get the truck stuck, or fall on a loaded gun and shoot myself. And stay out of the treestand.

Just sold the last of the whiskey barrels. I wish I had 100 more. Nothing quite like 100% profit margin.

    Monies will fund vacation.

And with them gone, you're less likely to have to explain how those splinters got into your tongue. Win/win.

With the topper, I won't need the big plastic tool box. Space in bed is opening up! I won't need a couple other containers, and won't have to pack some stuff into cab space. Net weight gain is less than 150lbs. Can now put (small) people in back seat if needed. Things in bed (such as chain saw) now reasonably safe from theft. Negatives are small. Advantages are large. Happy is turning to happier!

Vacation starts in 5 days (4 of which will be spent at work) First real planned vacation over 4 days that wasn't involving a doctor, or recovery from Asshat exposure in almost 4 years. I'll be outta here for 8 days total.

Smallmouth bass in north-central Michigan will be counted.

Mud in Eastern Kentucky will be splashed:mudding:

Phone will be off MOST of the time.:lalala:

    Beer will be consumed:drunk:

    :rasta: a possibility!

    :amen:

Will be (heavily) under the influence of Little Kings Cream Ale by the time the first line hits the water. My guide and I both kept that brewery working 3 shifts in our college days.

Those things still exist?!? I can’t find Lucky 7s anywhere! Haven’t had one since I lived in Dayton, uh, 1989.

Bottled in nearby Cincinnati. Still make 'em. Local liquor store still has 'em.

Sea food tonight. Just have to decide (1) what (2) where (3) how much.

Had clams (chowder) for lunch. Thinking scallops for dinner.

    Or sea bass.

    And sangria.
