I have 2 Renogy 50 watt panels that are connected to the solar input on a CTEK250 under the hood. This only charges the house batteries. The brackets are aluminum angle (3/16 for the sides and 1/8 for the cross members) that bolt to the extrusion with GFC T nuts.

Me as wsell. The email I got previous to this had me at build #132. This leaderboard shows a lower spot than that!

Nice. I want to do something similar. I have a 100w panel that was on my tonneau cover before the gfc arrived.

I will probably put the charge controller in the bed. Cooler, but a longer wire run.

I wish flexible solar panels were more reliable. I wanted a slim profile one for the roof, but reviews are not good.

    Im
Im 146 now. I keep hoping that they increase production efficiency and are able to pump out more and more as time passes. The initial investments in automation and all should pan out later.:fingerscrossed:

Yeah. I saw that leaderboard. Not happy with that at all if it is accurate.

Elise has been super helpful and responsive though. She stated that the leaderboard may also include some prototype deliveries not technically part of the orders.

Looks like i went from #135 to #149.

Like the email says, every current customer is on the leaderboard and should have received an email. So, I don;t think it's really much of a secret.

Same here. If they double their output, we'll get it in half the time! If they quadruple output, we'll have it yesterday!

I like your thinking! I can definitely see them increasing efficiencies but the part that will always take more time is what they have to send out to vendors (powder coating and possibly more). I am super hopeful though GFC will pick up speed and crush out the units left and right

Agreed. Powder coating is almost always the hold up for most companies. Other powder coating business doesn't stop because we want our campers ASAP. Unfortunately.

    It's DLX son!
My number on the leader board is also not what I had been quoting as my build number - but as mentioned there have been some prototype and promotional builds injected into the queue here and there that would explain the discrepancy.

Regardless of what the number says - I am happy to see that my build is in production this week as they said it would be!

I got bumped down 12.5 spots. Gonna work out though, cause I'd rather do a late Sept. pick up and road trip than earlier.

Question for the collective brain trust here. I have the roof rack bars and need to fab a way to mount my MaxTrax that is lockable and doesn't rattle without breaking the bank and buying the factory locks. Ideas, photos, how to's...........

Mine is slated for 12/3 build date. I wonder how cold it is in Montana at the end of December, beginning of January

I'm planning on driving up when mine is done too. Build date 12/10. I'm assuming it's going to be very cold.
