If ADS didn't cost even more than Kings, that's what I would have gotten, but I got a deal on some second hand king rears from a friend, and the rest is history

I should price both options. That might help me decide.

I've been pricing out Fox vs King in the 2.5 varieties for front and rear..
I'm already past my limit by 300.00 bucks for Fox and the Kings run at least 3 to 4 hundred more so trying to justify my thoughts which is I can get the Fox set up custom tuned by accu tune for the price of king untuned...
Would love the Kings but I think I might have to settle.
Would the tuned Foxes be as good for the money...?

Just curious but what Foxes were you running front and rear and were they tuned..?
Best price for King puts me 700 over limit...

King has the best name, Fox has the best quality with better oil, bigger fittings, better pistons, better seals, more consistent damping, etc.

This says everything in my decision making. Especially from the source that it's coming from. Comparison over... MIC drop.

This is the kind of stuff that really gets to me when I comes to this forum.

So many people tend to make recommendations based off cosmetics or lack of knowledge. We have @*TRD* providing a in depth comparison yet people still recommend King because it’s blue or they feel the ride is better.

Shock valving is something that takes a lot of time to understand and is usually individual based. What works for you, might not work for someone else. Your argument of “riding better” is irrelevant IMO because we may have different driving styles, vehicle application, and individual preferences.

That’s why tuning is so damn important and companies like Accutune are so successful yet people are willing to change their product selection because they are using an out of the box setup and passing their lack of knowledge to others.

Wait... there are actual people who have had both In & Out and Whataburger who prefer In & Out? Tf?

Had a shit ton of Whataburger, had three different In & Outs while I was in California... Whataburger without a doubt!

But ye, Culvers was pretty good, the ones down south are trash but up north they we're good... but c'mon... they ain't no Whataburger

That being said, I went with Foxs > Kings, if that means anything to you. Not sure why. Meh.

ive owned icon, fox and king on my 2nd gen and honestly couldn't tell the difference in ride quality over any of them. pick a color/brand you like the most, its honestly just about personal preference and price IMO

I would like to know where ADS falls into this. Like a legitimate comparison. I’ve only seen them a few times but from my understanding they are pricier than the other two.
