So my goal every month is 10lbs, I was doing great this month had gotten to 9lbs with 10 days to go, figured I was going to crush it this month, then bam plateau hit and for 4 days doing pretty much everything the same as I had been for almost 2 months now, no loss no gain.

So I had to do a quick modify for the last day and a half and hop back on the egg fast to reset things and break threw hopefully. I lost 1.5lbs in that day and a half so I have met my goal with 4 days to go. Is the egg fast fun no, does it help and work yes.

What is weird too, during this no weight loss time I hadn’t been checking keytones because everything was the same and no changes, then I decided to check 2 days ago, and the last 2 readings are showing none, 1. I think I had so much water that night that the first pee was clear so I get it, but then today same thing none, but also could just be the egg fast isn’t high enough fat even with butter, and my coffee drink and pills. I’m fine with it as it’s still a healthy weight loss right now. Just when I’m done with the fast, I hope my keytones kick back in correctly.

I'm just counting calories and eating clean. I've had some carbs but nothing significant.

Yah, I’ve been good on my calorie restriction, but never hungry so it’s been going good, until like I said this last week.

    My average day has been:
    Breakfast:
    Bulletproof coffee
    200 cals maybe 1-2 carbs

    Lunch:
A polish sausage thing from Costco
    A few almonds
String cheese, or sliced deli cheese
    350 cals
    3 carbs or so net

    Dinner:
    Lettuce/salad: caeser or ranch dressing
Meat item, with cheese pretty much

400-600 cals 2-5 carbs, mainly dressing, based on how much I’m dumping on for the fat content.

4 small egg white rounds with cheese and hot sauce.

Small salad with 1/2 chicken breast.

This is how my day typically goes. I'm usually not to hungry by 7pm. So I usually just have a 1/2 cup of mixed nuts for dinner.

Like I said, I cut calories hard and just maintaining this while the lbs shed

Very nice man. Yah I focus a lot on the #s because it’s the easiest to do everyday, but I try to tell myself it’s not just the #s it’s everything else, I know I’m down about 1.5 pant sizes, and back to medium shirts fitting comfortably, so that’s almost enough for me right there.

The part that’s interesting is I feel body size wise, I’m where I am normally when i weigh 20-25lbs under what I am now. So this diet I guess is a lot cleaner, and it’s cutting weight in areas I use to not be able to cut correctly, so I’m guessing I’ll look way different body wise when I get rid of this last 20lbs, even though Ive been that weight plenty of times.

I just weighed in after 2 weeks and 10 more gone.

I know I'm going to need to switch it up soon. I just need the summer to be gone so I don't pass out after a workout. That happened to me 2x last time I lost a ton of weight.

Right now my calories are too fucking low to workout after working all day and then drive home. I did that a few weeks ago and I felt like shit when I got in my truck. Even MyFitnessPal yells at me, so I uninstalled.

It would seem that way, but truthfully never hungry, half the time I eat because it’s going threw the motions of knowing I should, the keto diet shit really changes how your body uses/stores energy and food so the hunger isn’t there the same.

So I just had my annual physical for work. Good news is my Vo2 max is higher than last year and no changes during my stress test. Bad news is my cholesterol (both) is out of hand and according to the Doc If I was a kid I'd have ricketts based off my low vitamin D levels LOL WTF?
I'm about 225lbs 15% BF. I generally eat pretty good, crossfit, bike and work outside allot so damn! Time to start supplementing and cutting all grains and carbs to < 40 a day may be a permanent lifestyle change...

It depends what your cholesterol levels are. The AHA redid the guidelines in 2013 and it appears that the drug companies helped write them. If they recommend a statin get a second opinion prior to taking.
Vit. D- get out in the great AZ sun!!! Be careful if you start taking a D supplement. You can take too much of that vitamin.

Save all your carbs for craft beer! ;)

Yeah so the place I go through work is more Athletic based and the Doc told me there's no way she wants to give me a statin drug. I really dont want the side effects of one either... She recommended red yeast rice as natural "statin" until I get this under control. I believe part of my issue probably not necessarily what I eat but how I eat. I'll frequently wake up early drink coffee hit the gym, do some landscaping, work on the house then all of a sudden its 830 at night and time for a 4000 calorie meal then go to sleep. And yes I love me some IPA! I'm terrible about my eating patterns...

My LDL was too high to measure accurately :eek:and HDL can be fixed with some Omega supplements. Part of my Vit D problem is I'm a Day Walker aka ginger. Sunscreen is a must with as much as I'm outside.

I used to take a D supplement that was like 5000iu under Dr supervision for awhile. I'm not a ginger, but I'm in I.T, so almost as pastey white.

Glad they weren't trying to push a statin on you! The red yeast is worth a try! I take an Omega supplements and my HDL is now within normal limits. Just make sure you get a hard coated one and keep them in the fridge or freezer. It helps keep the fish taste away.
Try to eat something in the morning and add some steel cut oats!

Understand about the sunscreen, it is a must out here. Get with your GP or primary doc and have them recommend a vit d supplement. That should be an easy fix.

I need to go in for lab work in the next few weeks. I am sure my cholesterol is going to be high. I have been trying to find the best gourmet burger in AZ the last couple of weeks.

Have you found the best burger?

Did you try Deluxe and AZ88?

Right now it is the PB&J at Wilderness Brewery. Deluxe is tasty too. I have not tried AZ88, I will have to put that on my list.

Is everyone just doing a diet and no workouts or diet and working out? I have always had like a medium diet going on (about 100-120 carbs a day) but I workout on average 5 times a week for an hour and fifteen usually.
