Is that V&H Big Radius? If so, how do you like it?

Which headlight is that? Off Ebay or Amazon?

I just got a 48 just last month. Haven't done anything to it aside from the smoked front signal lenses and chrome bulbs.

Im trading in for the Custom 1250. It looks badass. Even more than the 48.
Yes its the Big Radius. I like it. No issues. I wanted an exhaust from Kinetic Moto buy didnt want to wait. Check them out too.

    Amazon light. It was $45.

The Custom 1250 Sort of looks like the V-Rod to me.
Did you use a kit for moving the coil/key?

I've seen the Kinetic exhausts. They look nice but I was kind of digging the D&D Bobcat.

Did you flash your ECU or using fuelpak?

I used Kinetic coil relocate and plug wires. I have keyless, so don't need to put the key anywhere except my pocket. Also have a 1.5" tank lift. (Have a 2" one for sale if you're interested)

Using the new Fuelpak3. Its super nice. Can reflash with Bluetooth.

Is the bracket metal or aluminum?
I didn't really want to do a tank lift because from what I've read lifting decreases the usable amount of gas in the tank.
I've also seen a couple of bikes that did the tuck without having to lift.

I do like Kinetic's key relocation being in the back rather than the usual top of coil.

I removed mine (front). Now I get a CEL light with the error code that says my turn signal is burned out.
I'm thinking about these as replacements:

    https://www.customdynamics.com/amber-truwrapz?cat=22

Although I did Laminix my headlight yellow for better visibility to drivers and am between adding these instead for more visibility:
    https://www.customdynamics.com/probeam-bcm-bb-1157-turn-signal-conversion-kit?cat=810

I just really like the stripped down look. The bullet signals kind of kill the lines for me.

I really want to do the Custom dynamics wraparounds in amber and then the alloy art strut lights for the rear, I'd be set. Stealth lights. But jeebus, that's almost $600 for lights that I'd hardly use.

I haven't put much thought into them yet. Also thinking about rear progressive shocks. But havent done much looking either.

I just put the same headlight in last weekend. Haven’t been able to ride with it yet.

Pretty long weekend. Went out to San Diego to pick up the bobber and bring my son's truck back for storage. he left Saturday for Afghanistan. Did take a nice detour through the Tonto National Forest in Arizona, which was pretty neat.
Was a tough time. Easy to do things yourself, hard to see your kids do them.

Semi-old news at this point but just learned I have the last model year of the 09 being designated as FZ. Yamaha decided to standardize all to the MT family I guess.

Now I can’t say my bike is a “Master or Torque” :(

Sounds like the same problem the v-twin crowd is having.
