They normally don’t give me one

Probably for the same reasons

 

I tend to like to do things the way that I’ve adapted my abilities to and I have ADD so there are typically 3 screens with 3-6 tabs open on each. Trainees can’t keep up.

 

My coworkers swear I have a touch of OCD. I like things to be neat and a certain way. This new trainee is smart and knows what she is doing, just a bit messy/unorganized for my likes

I just remembered I went to Alabama a couple summers ago for a wedding outside Mobile. Went to a gumbo cook-off at some park that was really nice.

Have you ever seen the video about the leprechaun in Mobile? I crack up every time I watch it. One of the docs I work with is from down that way. He has a buddy that has that "drawing" as a conversation piece

Haha yeah I remember seeing that a while back.

While I did have some excellent gumbo (first time trying it), being from New England, I’m partial to a good chowder.

 

I've only had it from down here......I still like it though

 

Night is seriously dragging here...

 

No kidding. I've got 5 more hours

 

I would have been in HR when they opened the next morning, if not sooner!

 

Oh I was. Now every desk in the shop has a phone.
The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Found out when I got to work this may be the only night I'll be able to run 12 hours till next week... So much for 'mandatory' OT.

 

The following week I spent every night after work sleeping in a hospital chair. My wife is still not better. That was January.

Wet feet for an entire shift is miserable

 

Wow. How many floor outlets shorted? Surprised they didn't send everyone home for potential electrocution hazards.

 

Yeah can’t send people home. They have canceled all elective surgeries. We had to shuffle some patients around from room to room.

 

So sick of being blinded by HIDs in reflector housings while driving into work.

 

Just any newer headlight these days blinds me. I've considered bringing it up to my optometrist to try to get windshield tint lol

 

I’ve always had trouble with oncoming headlights and driving at night due to an astigmatism

 

Maybe that's why I have an issue. I have an astigmatism as well, but never attributed my night driving woes to it.
