dude you need to look for a different insurance company. sorry, something is way off there. Yes, I realize your age is a factor but that is absolutely insane.

My insurance was a 3rd of that before the points

 

Just insurance on my truck is $150 for full coverage. And I'm only 27

 

When you commit a traffic volatility like speeding, recless driving, runing a light you get points. 4 in a year and they suspend you license for awhile. Insurance companies dont like it when uoi get lonits so they jack the rates up or dunp you

Even like a speeding ticket will give you a point? How long do they take to drop off?

 

Thats 1 point I believe. And it takes years to come off your record and upto your insurance when they wanna drop your rates

 

So I just did a quick quote based on a single male age 20, 2 moving violations (speeding), 2004 tacoma paid for and liability only. That was esurance. Might want to look around. Of course that will be different if you are financing that truck.

Most points (illegal turn, not making a complete stop, driving over the speed limit, etc.) and/or accidents will stay on your DMV driver record for 36 months (3 years). Points for more serious offenses, such as hit-and-run or a DUI, will stay on your license record for 10 years.

 

Reckless driving is 2 points which is what i have. And i rather not just have liability on my tacoma. I have full coverage now.

I mean i have no problem paying my insurance rate now just it stops me from getting another truck unless i only trailer the other truck. And i dont wanna just put liability on my tacoma just so i can afford a 2nd truck that I don’t actually need
