I want to fix a ding in the corner of my plastic bumper, but not sure what the best plastic filler compound is. want something that's easy to apply, wet-sand, and paints with minimum fuss...

in my experience, bondo doesn't bond to the flexible plastic of a bumper worth a damn. I am thinking a 2-part plastic epoxy like SEM MiniMax(*) but was hoping someone had used similar things on their Tacoma plastics and could advise.

Got any pics of the damaged area? Bondo generally doesn't work well on bumpers and plastic/flexible surfaces.

i have used SEM stuff before and its always worked really good for me, so I do believe I'll stop by the local auto parts store what carries a lot of paint and body supplies and stocks SEM stuff and see if they don't have it that minimax... along with the surface prep spray SEM recommends.

Abrade the surface and bring it back with Polyester body filler. NO - its not BONDO but its a filler thats got really good bite... either way, you're looking at repainting the entire bumper....

well, I picked up the small double-tube of the SEM MiniMAX, and applied it today, stuff went on smoothly, 15 minute cure, wet sand with 320 to smooth out out, masked the area around the glitch, and sprayed it with some serious high fill primer, let that cure the label specified 20 minutes, and wet sanded it. color paint should come in a couple days... I'll probably respray with primer as the sanding left some of it too thin, then apply the silver coat. not going to paint the whole bumper, just spot the area involved and feather the edges. will wet sand color coat with 800, then spray with clear, then rub, then wax, and i bet it looks fine.
