The second update for 2016 V6 auto transmissions. Was incorporated into all V6 AT Tacomas built after November 2016.

A previous update. You now that this new one is out, TSB 0077-16 Rev1 is no longer relevant. This calibration software for the transmission supersedes any previous version.

Go to the dealer and... ask for it by name/make a compliant using the lingo in the tsb. Depends on the dealership. Mine will just do it if I ask. Some will want to verify the problem first. If I were you guys, I'd just say sometimes I drive my truck into high altitudes.

Tell them this current TSB number and I should be good? I head to Tahoe every year so that should count as high altitude :D

Depends on the dealer. I'd start by stating you have stumbling/shuddering under acceleration especial when in Tahoe/Rockies/Everest. Maybe add in you heard there might be some software updates out that fix this. Basically feel them out and reveal your knowledge of this TSB a bit at time. Or just walk in and say you want this TSB install to help with your issues, toss them the key and say call me when its done and washed. Could go either way. But I wouldn't leave without it if you want it done. Theres no reason for them not to install it, they get paid by Toyota for it. It's easy money.

Did mine today. 1K miles on it. They called it a software update. It had a mild stumble... fixed. I didn’t notice any other improvements.

They did turned off my seat belt alarm and washed it as well.

Got mine yesterday. The only thing I noticed is that it shifts better. Im not seeing the power increase that others are seeing. But it's a start.

to get mine i just called up myy local dealer and asked about that tsb, they put me on hold for a minute while he looked it up then came back on and asked "how fast can you get here?". They called a couple hours later to tell me it was done. 0 stuttering after the flash, before it was every time i floored it from a stop.

Wait... WHAT? The door alarm can be turned off?!?!?! I've owned my truck for a year and the only reason I ever want to punch it in the throat is the got dam door alarm. 100 different scenarios seem set it off, and apparently I do all of them. Love my truck, but the door alarm is a nightmare!! How'd you make this come to pass???
