    Yes, a refi showing positive equity can remove the pmi without you even paying the 20%, as long as what the homes value vs what is left on the loan exceeds 20%.

    Again though you need to check the type of loan, because some fha and other unique loans have timers that they won’t let get rid of it for a specific amount of years no matter what, I’m only commenting on 30 year traditional.

    73 torino with a 351w using the Ford duraspark for an ignition system..
    It runs fairly crisp down low... hit 2k rpm and it back fires and pops and won' rev. I chased some wiring and cleaned it up because I was having intermittent spark issues where it wouldnt fire up at all. Double and triple checked cam timing. Played with ignition timing and it cleans up a bit but its like i cant advance the timing enough. new coil plugs wires ignition box and pickup in the distributor..Checked that it is advancing and it is.... going to keep checking things. Need to get a dial on the rocker arms to see if it has a dead lobe or something... also need to do a fuel test to ensure im ive got enough fuel for WOT. Along with maybe a plugged jet in the carb? Haven't made it that far yet.
    It's a bomber car that was recently built after she got into the wall with her other one. This motor they pulled from a Bronco from a family friend and it hasn't ever quite ran right in this car from my understanding. she took it to the first race and it ran like ass, it's been off season ever since. But her next race is labor day and this thing needs to be runnin or I'm gonna be digging for brownie points....

    @Nitori

    I know someone you can talk to, she's been in the business a long time. She assisted me with a program in Maricopa County called Home in 5. Basically, it's a grant that pays your down payment. This allowed me to get into my house (180k) for 0 down on my part and my initial mortgage was about 1200.
    After 2 well timed refis and way better insurance I'm at 960 @3.4% now. I believe I started at over 4.5% with the FHA (and my FICA was 777)

    I'll be happy to point you in her direction if you would like.

    I do remember you had to have a FICA of 670+, take a class and not make over 80k a year.

    Hey pal. Would you mind sending me a referral for this person. A friend of mine has been having trouble finding a lender to do a down payment assistance program like the one you are talking about. Thanks in advance.

    Well I should qualify for all of that then, definitely shoot me a PM. I'm looking at other options too, cosigner, trying to hit 20%, and so on.

    Also yeah @Enjoihavok I hadn't realized that they escrow your tax/insurance. In my mind I was planning on using savings to pay tax/insurance and monthly income out of the checking on the payment itself. So I guess the number I got isn't insane it just threw me for a loop because I was making some assumptions about how I would be distributing costs.

    I would recommend not getting a cosigner and doing it all on yourself if possible.
    I'll get you the data when she texts me back this AM. I only have her personal cell.

    Not Helen, but she's been a financial advisor for me since I purchased the home and part of the reason why my credit is good.
