eh. Idk. Its insanely fun to drive. I can accelerate up steep grades in 5th gear.

Highway, not super ideal. Basically have to go around 70mph tops unless you want to get 10mpg.

I don't daily mine obviously so can't say how that works out. Would still do it though if i was. My single cab v6 with 31s and 4.10s feels similar..though still not as torquey. But it pulls hills in 5th all day which is so great on the highway.

The other thing you should consider is weight of verhicle. If its gonna be a fully armored rig on 35s THATS where the gears really help is with the weight of the truck plus the bigger tires. Plus at that point, you likely won't want to DD it anyways..

If you're trying to bridge the gap and get 4.88s with 33s and 35s later. Id just wait to regear for the 35s. Or have a "come to jesus" talk and REALLY decide if you really need 35s. Everyone wants them..almost everyone doesn't need them. Are they awesome? Hell yea. For a DD? Hell no. Why would you DD on 1500 tires and get really bad mpg?

Because my commute is 8 miles round trip lol. But I’m 3-4 hour drive to the sierras which is where I camp mostly. Honestly 4.88s and 33’s would be good for me.

I've done all 5, love them.

I'm running 4.10 with 33s and manual, honestly I don't think I'd need 4.88s. though we don't have as long grades out here.

All that sounds far. For me work is five miles one direction, and the Big Horns six miles the other direction.

I think I do the opposite of all your advice. I run 35s 4.10s and daily drive mine.

living at the base of the big horns is cool like that haha

I don't mind being that far from so many mountains. Its nice. Like picking ice cream flavors haha

commute sucks but its an easy drive. What happens when you work on a remote ranch/arts center.

Good. Most my advice sucks anyways haha
