For those that aren't from Montana. It is most closely similar to a tundra type landscape near Bozeman. Usually ski slopes are open by November, but every year is different. I would suggest budgeting for twice the time frame if you don't normally drive in the snow. People will go 80 during snowfall and you can't go super slow the entire way; snow rated tires are a must. Cold is also relative, but I would bring enough for 0°F weather during the nights; will probably be around 20-30°F during daytime at least.

It's definitely doable. Bozeman is a huge valley in between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. One of the most scenic areas in the country. But it does get really cold earlier in the year. When I was last there (early Nov.) the weather was considered warm that year and days were 35-40 while nights were 20s with minimal snowfall on the mountains. I would keep an eye on snowfall and temps this year and watch Nov. especially over the trend and averages. If this year is like last you will not want to drive up at that time if snow driving at a moderately fast speed is not in your repertoire. You can go slower, but you will be passed or tailgated and that is just no good for that long of a distance.

Actually I can verify that bit WAS NOT there as of the email last night. Probably added as many orders were probably concerned.

I'm planning on driving up from Dallas. Start Date for mine is Nov. 19th. I'll be bringing my skis if its a good year and the snow starts early.

Might have. However this is now the 4th number I've gotten. Still think I'm no further ahead or behind than I ever was.

Awning mounted and ready: ARB 2500 Overhang is minimal. One of my first thoughts when I saw the GFC design concept was how sweet it’d be to mount an 8’ awning on a “mini-cabover” camper and not have it look like it’s coming in for a in-flight refuel. Thank you GFC! Stoked!

FYI, for those that missed the GFC email I almost did too. If your primary email is a gmail address it might have automatically filtered into your "Promotions" tab. I typically ignore most garbage emails that go to the promotions group, but luckily GFC in the title caught my eye.

@wileydavis I wanted to ask yall if you have any plans to attend the annual Texas Toyota Jamboree in 2019? This event is the biggest Yota event in Texas and for this year, had 3-400 trucks registered. Its a killer event and it would be incredible to have yall out there. I am not associated with Jambo other than being one of the super happy participants, but i thought I would reach out to yall and ask. I will be there with my GFC on since its usually the first weekend of May and my delivery is hopefully this yr. There may even be other texas gfc folks there.

Would be really cool if yall were joining as a vendor!

Here is a video of the group shot with only about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the vehicles:
