Also she's always smashing her shins on the sliders. But I feel like by now she should know better....

On the other hand the FJ is much cooler. Everyone knows form >>>>>>function

Over 4 years in the trade so getting up at 5:15 is fine 6 days a week. They're just running me thin now though with the amount of parts

Morning all, been crazy busy at home and work, plus doing fund raisers in the Jeep. Can't believe it is Aug already, daughter is making her plans for going back to Buffalo and hunting season is right around the corner. Headed to Ned's Point Lighthouse tomorrow for another fund raiser and was hopi g there might be a nice bar/restaurant on the water to sit at after to grab a beer. Any recommendations

Bulleit is a common go to for bartenders and a good middle of the road imo

Yea pretty crazy to me... I just read through the actual court briefing linked in the gearjunkie article... its ridiculous- they basicly interpreted the law stricter then written to keep 5 Kershaw skyline knives out of the country...

I have a bottle of Blantons for special occasions. Almost picked up a bottle of Kings County last weekend in Mystic. Anyone try that? Any good?

Bulleit is my go too.. good enough to drink straight but cheap enough to mix...

Was given a bottle of Colonel E.H. Taylor that's really good... haven't looked at the cost of it though... that's one I save only for Manhattan's/old fashioned/straight up

Yeah, kinda reminds me of the UKs current hate crime laws. They intentionally keep it vague, and open for interpretation.

Yep. I usually just drink the Whistlepig neat as well or with a few drops of water. Bulleit typically gets put in my corkcicle glass with a dash of bitters.

If you can find it Eagle Rare is one of my go-tos ~$30 a bottle and it's too easy to drink. Blantons is my GF's go to. If I go fancier it's typically into the scotch range of whiskeys

@PeterT ; this is right up your alley. Give us the list of must-sample whiskeys!

Wish I didn't have to wait till 10am to get Vietnamese iced coffee. Best coffee imo. Try it if you're ever near a Vietnamese restaurant or food truck.

Exactly, by 10 am I am usually 40 to 50 oz deep already. About 64 oz for the day on average. Black.
