Since he won them at a raffle, there’s a good chance he’d take less because he probably just wants to offload them for cash. If you could get them for like $375 that’d be a freakin steal.

Most definitely. You'll need to upgrade the lift now to properly utilize the ucas. I thinking 7½" minimum.

Definitely overkill BUT if you can get the heavy duty version for CHEAPER than the standard version, it'd be silly not to.

Yea, more of a want, not a need. I hate offering less, because when I sell things I don't like taking less either.

However, when I'm selling things, accepting less is better than nothing.

 

Pick up a delorme Maine atlas. Literally thousands of miles of logging roads to be traversed. For actual Rick crawling youd have to hit RMTP. Some of the logging roads get dragged, others haven't been used in years.

 

Yeah, I've just been procrastinating the purchase, the are in an Amazon list waiting for me to hit buy. Thanks for the tip. I don't have the protection for real rock crawling just yet but good to know.

A stock rig is fine for most of the stuff. More important would be tough tires (no AAA out there..., Plus in some areas the shale shards kill tires) and basic recovery stuff (shovel, hilift, stuff to convert hilift into winch, etc...)

 

Just upgraded to load E tires so definitely doing better in that category. Recovery gear is slowly being added to; can't do a hi-lift yet because no sliders or bumpers.
