    It looks like they're designed to distribute any upward force along that small tube and transfer it to the body. Seems like that would act as a lever and push the body away from the frame, albeit a very short distance. I would think those self-tapping screws would work themselves out eventually with heavy use. I guess the design works since they've been around for awhile.

    Also mounts to the body seam in seven places. It may be an unorthodox approach, but I don't think they are as bad as people are making them out to be. They use 2x2 receiver for the main tube. Certainly not mall crawler only.

    They were Beat DOOOOwwn yrs ago no need to go through this again. They don't work as rock sliders , they crush into the rocker panel causing damage. Whats the point of that, other then looks.
