Any ideas on a time? I would like to make an event in my calendar so i don't forget it. I have about an hour and a half commute. Anyone know of any light wheeling in the area? Wouldn't mind getting out a little after the meet.

I'd say meet down there between 11:30-12pm and afterwards there's some trails down along the river under the 79 bridge. I've taken Corey and Phillip there before.

No, simple trails, some deep huge ruts and washouts. Nothing you need armor for. If you wanna play in the river or feeding stream I would suggest doing breather extensions for your diffs and trans.

That was going to be my next question. I will just stay out of the deep water. I need to get an alignment done first as well to get better articulation.

Wait when is this and where? I may have to join. If I get the truck back together ....again... after I go to TN labor day weekend to wheel I'm thinking of buying a 90s pickup and turning it into a buggy. I love my truck but we were 3hr on a trail at rausch last weekend it sucked with the dclb plus my truck is till in OK shape so I'd rather pick up a cheap pickup 1-2k$ to actually rock crawl with.

Come out Dan, we can discuss which parts you want to sell cheap, since you're gonna get a dedicated trail rig.

Haha nope. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I did think about going some what back to stock. Because I get 10-12 mpg now pulling a trailer with a rig on the back I bet would be 6mpg. Haha

I was joking, but if you decide to go closer to stock keep me in mind.

I can do that. I don't plan on it but we'll see how it works out. I thought about pulling the bed on my truck and getting a gm 14bolt for the rear and putting a dana 60 up front but mines still a big truck to really wheel. Not saying it can't be done. But I'd rather get a smaller pickup that has all kind of sas kits and such and go that route. Maybe.

Thats where I am. Hoping to get some armor this winter and sliders in spring. Then I'll be more comfortable getting into that type of terrain.
