So post TSB, are commenting that the improved shifting is with or without ECT?

I only ask because for me, with ECT, the stock tune is tolerable around town but annoying on the interstate. Without ECT, I want to drive it in the ocean regardless of where I am.

TSB done today. The lag is reduced greatly. I will wait until I start out cold to give it a final approval...

It's noticeably better than having old ECT imo.

Still have to test out the new ect but the short amount I used it, it still had the raised shifting points, higher rpms around city(40-50pmh) and maybe slightly more responsiveness but that could just be in my head.

if you have the lastest software per TSB, you will have a sticker under your hood with the software revision on it, PER TSB...
they put the new revision lable on both of my updates,, come on stick up for yourself... customer is always right , not the fu..in dealer

Good to know. They've been good about the trans updates but wanted to try and duplicate the crosswind noise from the door weatherstripping. No luck with that one.

I have not touched ECT yet. Don’t plan on it until I get some miles on this version on the ECM.

I forgot to mention, all this driving is with the AC on full blast otherwise I would melt here in the desert.

According to the TSB, they should put it on the passenger side near the hood latch under the hood.

My service rep said they weren’t going to place a sticker, but that the reprogramming would be listed on my receipt. I’m not sure if they just don’t have the stickers yet or why. The TSB gives instructions for dealers to order them; considering they really aren’t too aware yet of this TSB, they may not have done that.

Ok that’s kinda where I thought. There’s a big decal there now but no software version on it anywhere. Going in Monday for an update, I hope.

From the factory, no. Only when there's a change made. Most dealers wont take the time for the sticker. I just get them to print out the TechStream data sheet with the calibration IDs.

    UPDATE
After 1 week of driving with the new TSB 0062-18, there is no change in the MPG. In the beginning I lost about 1 MPG since I had fun pushing it but under "normal" driving conditions on US-60 WB, the gas drinking habit is the same.

I dropped mine off @ Big Two this morning, hopefully they don't hassle me. Looking forward to a noticeable difference, but not getting my hopes up.

both updates ive gotten, at checkout i asked if the sticker was put under the hood, per TSB, they page the service tech, and both times it wasnt done, so i wait 5 minutes, while the tech comes out, and do there job right.. i have to remind them, or maybe they cant read all the info on the TSB,, rush in and rush out.. get everything in writing.........

Got mine done yesterday. And I gotta say - it's like they put 50 HP under the hood! Downshifts without putting your foot into it, and even when you let off it hangs in the gear long enough to not burden the engine! It's almost like driving with ECT on! Speaking of which - did they change the ECT shift points also? Anywho, best tranny update!

No. Unless it's plugged into the Obd2. Then yes.
