Favorite Wiper Blades?

The Southeastern states are being washed out right now and my Bosch MicroEdge blades are starting to make their presence known. I'm gonna try the Napa/Rebadged Trico exact fit blades next. I got almost 10 months out of those Bosch blades so Im hoping to get the same if not better out of the new ones.

Anyways, Ive never seen a thread that covers this topic, so whats yall's favorite?

Bosch Icon. Best I have had in all my vehicles, hands down.

 

For the 11 years I had my 1st gen, all I ever got were the factory rubber inserts. Never had a single problem ever. In fact, I'm still doing that with my 2nd gen.

 

I'll have to go back and look to see what I've got. I've only had the truck for
a few months, the seller put new auto-parts-store wipers on it, and they squeek
constantly...

Unless I already have one of the good kinds y'all are talking about, I might
change to one of them...

I get 2 years out of a set of the Toyota Sightline wiper blades. Can't ask for more than that.

 

Sometimes I get the feeling their all made by the same Chinese dude for $1 an hour. My dad had good luck with the Trico blades so I guess Ill see if I get the same experience.

 

I have the same comment for my 1987 SR5 that I sold in 1997, and for my 1998 TRD that I still have. Genuine Toyota Parts are worth it.

 

I've been using Rain X wiper blades for a couple years now and really like how they keep the windshield clean !!

 

Also using RainX, no complaints. @Blue92 you getting enough rain to take advantage of our too fast and even faster wiper speeds?

 

I may have to go back to Toyota wipers...

Wiper blades don't last very long out here in the Desert !!

 

Summer kills them here too. I replace in the fall each year with 3 dollar ones from Wally. They make it through winter/ most of summer before squeaking, same as the expensive ones.
It doesn't help that I have windshield chips.

 

I dont have that problem. 2004 has intermittent wipers. But my 92 pickup yes, I feel your pain there.

Rain has been more steady than hard for the past week. Maybe once a day we get a downpour for an hour or so. 6 inches since Sunday, 6 more this weekend.

 

Factory rubber inserts. I replace every year in the month I purchased the vehicle. Its been working well for the last 11 years.

 

Yea, well in the Oregon Valley it seems every 6 months. Definitely the rubber is less quality then they used to be—squeaky/noisy—I think that is mostly the problem, and very disappointing.

I had settled on the Bosch—changing out the entire housing seemed to help.
