    Cobra WX-75. That's the one I have and they're a pretty cheap way to go. I haven't had any problems with mine. Its mounted behind the dash with the connection next to my 12V charger plug. I can flip the little cover down there with the handset disconnected and you can't even tell it's there.

    Uniden makes a seat rally box, I use mine for disaster response with a VHF, and UHF trunk unit to be a dispatch patch if needed. I will see if I can still find one on the web. It's all self contained, and has speakers mounted in a drop resistant box.
