I told him I'd stop giving him slave labor, to which he reminded what "slave" in slave labor means. I promptly got back to work.

So I ditched my hilift and went big, I got a pro eagle 2-ton https://www.proeagle.com/. Does anyone else have one? I'm having problems on how to mount this “beast”. I have a shell so I plan on keeping it in there, locked up of course.

I plan to flatten strangers tires at random and charge to put on their spare. I should have it paid off in 3 or 4 years.

Moved from the wrong thread and placed here:
    I suggest a 60” HiLift.

You start running out of bar length pretty quick.

This reminds me. I have the hi lift stabalizer and I used it the other week for the first time in my driveway to test it. First off the hi lift foot wouldn't fit in the base. Not a big deal, I just snipped a little off it with an angle grinder.

Then I put the wire cables up top. They were kinda tight, but there was still a decent amount of play in them. How tight should they be before jacking? @Subway4X4

Torn sidewalls. Same trip, different muddy, rocky day
    5BE0C6E9-2412-4D8D-8DE0-A97BA1E4A580.jpg

Needed a HiLift on the sliders, two bottle jacks and a few SafeJack extensions. Fnucking truck wanted to tip over onto its side while we were HiLifting. So we brought in the extra bottle jack and extensions. And check out @Grand dude holding up the truck so @steele-taco doesnt get crushed.

HiLift Mate wasn’t gonna work in this case since we were changing the tire of the truck corner that needed lifting.

Stabilizing plywood base wasn’t going to work because of the rocky terrain. Luckily the ground wasn’t soft at the jacking points.

Yeah. Mine has some play in it. @HolyHandGrenade ’s also has play in his.
If it was too tight, it’d be tough to insert the clevis pin.

Is your hi lift base snug in the safe jack base? I wonder if I trimmed off a little too much and that play caused it to tip. I ask because I was jacking up a truck from a hitch with all the safety stuff set up, but as soon as the tires came off the ground it slipped and tipped over. I half expected it so I left all tires on the truck and nothing got damaged. Just wasn't confidence building.

I have that same exact set up but the foot on my hi lift looks a bit difference. The long edges curl up and that's what caused it to not fit. I wonder if I can buy just that foot.

I can’t imagine why/how a HiLift jack foot would curl up. Pic?

Here's what a normal foot looks like

Here's the best pic I could find of mine. You can see on the corners the gaps and can kinda see the curls.
