How are things working out for this brake light @mesojdm? My factory light is getting worse, I don't want to replace it with another flawed & crappy factory one, but it the cracks get much worse I'm screwed

2nd gen to fit the BD lights. That is what I'm waiting for.

Sure. To be fair both the one I posted and Mesos aren’t going to be cheap no matter how you cut it.

Prices below are msrp for fair comparison.

    Meso:
Housing anywhere around 80-100 ballpark based on previous posts if that holds true.
    Baja designs lights $65 x 4 for 2nd gen (260)
Or KCs are around $33x3 for 2nd gen (99)
So between 179 as lowest possible price using msrp to 360 highest price

    Or the one I posted:
    225 is what I’ve seen lowest price + 1 s2 at 124 puts you at $350.

Of course bigger con is you have to put holes in your roof to mount it. But it can also serve to mount an NMO antenna.

I’m anxiously awaiting the KC Meso version though.

That's a neat piece, a bit over the top for my application. I'd need long travel, new fenders and bed sides, along with a few hundred more HP. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I think meso's would be more subtle in design and still feature more lights. I'm always floating the idea of a cap, so :notsure: if I saw it available I'd probably still buy it.

I’m just posting it for the guys that might have been in the original thread feeler that was posted months ago with that exact light setup that had fell through.

I’d rather have the 3d print KC version but I know there isn’t a specific eta if any, with no offense to MESO as I know he does this stuff on the side and has stated such and these are more or less fun projects that benefit us.

Yeah I totally agree the price is way too high for what it is.

How do you turn your idea to object? Draw it then measure? Lots of trial and error? All your stuff is perfect

So, I had a chance to actually see this housing with our lights installed in action a few weeks back and I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the product and the fitment of it! I am very excited for this project for you all to get your hands on it!
