Putting in the effort is what's counts! There's no shame in needing help

It's ok to ask for help.... Don't let that deter you from working on your own truck.

I use a cordless impact wrench to remove fastens era whenever it fits. Saves my knuckles.

I personally use Dewalt but Milwaukee has a larger array of automotive oriented power tools such as their 12v ratchet wrench.... Batteries are no problem lasting through an entire job especially if the tool is brushless.

I will have to look into this to see if theres anything that might make my life easier. We actually have a full air setup at our house but getting into tight places sometimes is challenging and also the bump stops required a giant pipe wrench or some channel locks so there was no getting around that.

I am going to try again soon with the rear superbumps and the metal tech lower links as they still have to go on. I will get an alignment tomorrow and see how she rides. On my around the block test drive it already feels tighter and a little better ride.

That's the thing about having a Deep Well of friends. Everybody draws up just what they need & leaves the rest for someone else to have or to use. Your friends get the benifit & sense of accomplishment that they helped you out. You get the company & the Mod. Looks like a Win - Win to me. Arthritis has been my "old friend" since before my oil patch days. Runs in the family. Luck of the draw, cards that I got but I do remember how frustrated my late Mom felt, she was a fantastic seamstress until she couldn't anymore.

I love all of my friends but I also know it sucks a lot rolling around on the concrete in this heat so that's why I didn't even want to ask my own boyfriend for help. I'm just not good at it but I may have to practice more soon.

I'm actually the first in my family to be diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis or any arthritis really and that was right after I turned 30(2 years ago). My grandmother is in her 70's and just was diagnosed with it recently and her medication and severity is half of mine. It's kind of nuts how it works out. I do everything I can to stay strong so I don't lose part of my life experiences to this but I'm also well invested now to make money in the event I eventually end up technically disabled.

I saw someone who taped an led flashlight up to their bumper for their license plate light. It was one of those "I guess that works" type of things.

That’s tough shit. There’s no greater barrier than pride, but friends will make that pain bearable (ask me how I know ). A great leader knows when to ask for help!

“I basically stood around looking good”

I’ve never tried that before, but I’d be hoping to get out of a tough spot, not getting into one.

My/my wife’s family is littered with health issues. You can’t let that blind you from the happiness you have in front of you! Struggles are just that; struggles. They aren’t end-all-be-all statements.

My great grandmother used to say, “these floors are a blesssing” as she swept them several times a day. No money, no insurance, and no stability. Poor or not, EVERYBODY has something to be grateful for and be satisfied with. She planned on the future with bread and rice. I plan on a future with more because of that. Maybe more personal than most here admit, but it all pertains (even the toughest of assholes on TTC).

    HID retrofit or nah

The shit you were looking at is probably a bust. Projector or nah. Don’t settle for substandard, illegal bologna. Pay once, die once or something

I definitely try to stay positive and I know I have so much to be thankful for. I have a great group of friends here(and even more across Texas)I just am having a moment where I let the frustration get me down and blind me to how good I have it. I thank you all for the kind words, suggestions and reassurance it really does help being shown you're cared for when you're hurting. :)

Frustration WILL get you down and that’s perfectly fine. It happens to everyone, no matter how macho meatballs they may seem. It’s way past my bedtime and I’m exhausted, but know that the right group of people will suppprt you more when they feel as vulnerable as you.

Don’t be afraid to own your shit, nobody else can be as good at being you as you.

    -dr skouse or something
