Anyone had problems getting CBI to ship your order. Called them yesterday morning and was told it's laying on the shippers bench, "Should be shipped out today" The shipping label was created on 7/31/18. UPS hasn't even received the package as of 8/4/18 2.43AM ET.
To recap, this is there 2nd attempt to ship me my rear frame plates. The first set ordered on 7/16/18 was lost by UPS.

 

it is CBI so i believe what they said. its more then likely ups then CBI. but i dont want to assume anything

 

something like that, i dont care what vendor it is - if its available somewhere else, I'd cancel it and tell them what I thought of their customer service/quality assurance. that is BS. they have to retain some accountability here. someone needs to get on the phone and deal with their shipping service.

 

The sales rep from CBI acknowledged they label was created Tuesday and as of Thursday my order was still sitting there.

 

The first set being lost by UPS is not there fault. But you'd think because their customer was screwed by UPS. They would put my second set on an urgent delivery status.

 

agreed. or tell them i want my money back and make them yourself if you can

 

The time it would take to draw up a CAD file and have someone cut them out. Cheaper and easier to order a set from them.

 

Just make it with cardboard then trace on steel and cut. Why you need to make a cad file?

This right here. At the very minimum, that shipment needs to be changed to Priority Next Day or Two Day. You also should be seeing some kind of discount code for future use or a partial refund (shipping costs refunded). Something. That would be how a company makes the situation 'right' with the customer. How I would do it.

Even doing it that way it's still hard to beat $70 for a set. I need to be paid to sweat that much.

 

Why make it hard on yourself? Just use a mill or a band saw, so much faster
