The t1 seems kinda sketchy, the mileage in the picture doesn’t match what they’re saying

I didn't find a Billy goat but I found a Asian girl in my bed. Scared her and got kicked in the gut. Lol

Main problem with my stock skids is that there rusty a some areas you can bend with your hands or feel it twist some around the bolt areas. There not going to survive very well on knocks

That sucks man. Everything i ordered from them showed up immediately. Even my bumper showed up 3 weeks early. Sounds like someone may have dropped the ball a bit. Everyone does at one point or another.
so i agree, but you'd be surprised how easy they bend. The argument i dont think is strength but weight. i agree with @Speedytech7 the added weight is not worth the added protection. It will create more suspension issues @what road I would rather have 3/16 bend then 100 more lbs on the front. I play in the rocks a decent amount. N my skid plates show some wear, but they wont get a puncture and will protect you enough to get you off a trail. Just dont run a diff drop n youre fine. @Sperrunner you wont ever play in the rocks so 3/16 will be just fine.

Yea I might do a 1/4 in the front and the second plate is 3/16. not because I think 3/16 isn't strong enough with proper reinforcing. But because I'm a beginner at offroading and I rather have more protection then I need.

Sounds like you guys picked better lines lol sometimes I feel i am forced to take a line on 33s compared to those on 35s and I get through easier. When you're on smaller tires I feel it makes you think a lot more about line choice.
I dont want to ruin Monte’s run for the 1/4” skid push, but dude just save your money and get 3/16 n then see if you need to put the added strain on your truck. Just sayin. You can do what you want, but those skids are meant for someone who goes to the rubicon a couple times a summer, and yes I WILL do the con, but prob not with 1/4” steel. Focus your money on suspension n gears and or lockers

Thanks man, but armor is one thing I rather not skimp on. Going to check the 4xinnovations for skids and sliders.

And that's funny who says small tires are not as good as big tires.

Trust me I have made mistakes on my build, and am living with some of them at the moment. I redid the rear suspension so it suits my needs. I was lucky I found a work around vs relocation. One thing I overlooked with my front suspension was weight, and tuning my shocks for it. When I address it, I will end up getting shocks tuned for my weight, go mid travel, with resis and be done with it. Then look at bumps and call it a day. I like the new bumps that the 3rd gen t4r guy is making, but @m3bassman brought up a point I didn't think about, mud and dirt. How is that gonna affect the performance of those things. Sorry I digress.
