@Dgibson529 well you saw a great freaking performance by Porcello, holy shit. Only threw 86 pitches for the complete game.

Absolutely nuts. Right around 80% of his pitches were strikes

    Morning everyone!

We have a big wedding going on today, 4 tents, over 60 vendors and staff, tons of everything and the people are spending a LOT of money, to the point where our venue fee is probably the least expensive thing they are doing (we aren't the most expensive, but aren't anywhere close to cheap). It is also our first outside dinner/dancing and while I told all our neighbors like a month ago, I am guessing some still won't be too excited. We also are letting them go until midnight, and usually 10-11pm is our cutoff, we will be moving them inside for the last few hours, but then I have to worry about bass from the DJ's shaking the neighborhood.

Hopefully the neighbors are cool/things aren't out of control and things go well. My wife and I usually run everything and schedule it, but we are flies on a wall at this event and we are a little unsure of what to do all night besides make sure the bathrooms are clean. Oh well, it will be a learning experience and I think we should get some great photo's since they are going all out with everything.

Then tomorrow I gotta put together a top dresser then mow/aerate and top dress with some compost to help the yard bounce back for the next week and the rest of the season.

Rain gage already is reporting 0.80" of rain for the day. The rain slowed down to 1.75"/HR a few minutes ago...

All the gin talk makes me thirsty. I used to suck down gin and Collins like it was lemonade, but can't any more cause I get ridiculous heartburn if I drink even one now. May have to look into the gin drinks you guys posted.

Put my first real scratch into the truck yesterday. Having a bad day at work and ran to the convenience store for a soda.

Got out of the truck and walked past the front bumper and I was just a bit too close to the corner and hooked my GD jean rivet and put a nice line down to the plastic.

I touched it up but it stings. I didn’t have a mark on it. I know I know it’s a truck, but anything you do yourself hurts.

Maybe I’ll get it resprayed once I have some cash to spare.

Time heals. And by time I mean touch up paint. Haha.

I gave up already. I wear my suit with pin stripes. Too much time in the woods and can't slow down to worry about branches anymore. I still wash a deatail almost weekly though haha.

I actually don't mind the damage I do to the truck, it's another story I get to tell, it's the other people doing damage to the truck I can't stand.

Got 3/4 of the way through cutting the lawn before the first rain drop. Finished weed whacking with it pouring out.

    Howdy y'all!

I haven't set up my desktop yet so I haven't really had access to a computer to post on TW. Posting from my phone isn't the easiest haha.

But we made it to Nashville and we are unpacking and buying furniture. The apartment is great, the area is a lot of fun, and the truck still gets stares from everyone.

The drive down wasn't too bad. Got some rain and some traffic, but my father and I did all the driving. We took breaks but didn't switch vehicles or anything. Molly navigated and ran the podcasts. We had to sneak the bird and two cats into these "pet friendly" hotels that only really allow dogs. Bullshit.

Got down here and all moved in without issue. Now I'm just spending all this money on furniture that I should be spending on the truck.

I'm gonna stay subbed to this thread and hopefully keep up with y'all as best I can. Tag me if/when you miss me!

You’ll love the area. I used to be stationed about 45 mins north of Nashville and went down to the city frequently. Wait until New Years. broadway is insane downtown!

Doesn't Worcester get tornado warnings every time it rains? I think one or two small tornados touched down last weekend.
