It’s on the agenda for today. Need to hardwire my V1 back in, and run the cable for my scanguage while I’m at it too.

Try the Subaru kicker tweeter upgrade, a WORLD of difference sound wise. Cheap mod, easy as hell to diy. There’s a thread on here about it. I got mine off of Amazon. You will be pleased.

I switched out all of the speakers. It made a world of difference. The factory speakers are actually made of paper with tiny magnets. D57E1162-D618-418D-9E8E-0C078EBC1378.jpgCF5A11F8-7DF4-4469-9E18-C6854961D132.jpg

No amp. Just speakers. I may do one later but it sounded so much better, I’m just going like this for awhile.

Do I spy a 964 in your avatar? Details? Specs? I’ve got a 93 GP White C2 Coupe. Best thing I’ve ever owned in my life.

Yes it is. It’s a 91 c2 coupe. Complete engine-out rebuilt motor, pss10’s, speed line wheels and a few other goodies. It’s my baby.

It's just another trim level, worth it to those looking for those options.

    Just like the Limited.
    Just like the Sport.
Just like the Offroad, the SR5 and SR.

Love that! I was very close to buying a black 91 C2 for my first years and years ago, until the transmission shit itself for the 3rd time in my 740.

Luckily I eventually found my unicorn car (most recent photo from a dyno session the other week)

The poll question is not fair...Pros don’t cost 10-12k more. Better question would just be, “Are Pro’s worth the price you paid?”

I paid $33.5k for my OR before tax/tag. There is no way I would pay $43k for this truck (you said your dealer was selling an OR at $43k). The Pro, maybe, but no way a normal OR. Even a Pro, it would be hard for me to swallow paying mid 40’s for a Tacoma, no matter how nice, it’s still a Tacoma.

If the OR had the leather-ish option when I was buying I would of totally went that route. Still love my Pro though.

I think the pro is worth it. Factory options already installed. Leather seats and a manual option. I personally can’t justify it in my own garage, BUT the nicest 3rd gen I’ve seen in person was a Barcelona Red Pro. Man what a beautiful truck.

Aren’t Hoka’s a bit overkill for speaker swap?

They actually do, that is why they don't have a problem with anyone walking out for not being able to negotiate the 10k markup. Raptors are the same deal, 15-20k when the 18's came out and all dealers here were firm. People are willing to pay if money isn't an issue.
