I setup a 4 outlet box on a extension cord

 

I have several jacks to choose from but no transmission jack. But I do like the height of my welding table and the table is familiar. I also have a smaller welding table that I may do this to leaving the bigger table (relatively) unmolested. Some jack-hole welded a big vise to it that I will be cutting off this winter. The big table is one complete sheet but bigger than 4x8. It actually looks like a piece of trench plate. The smaller table is about 4x4 and already has a vise on it so adding the turn table to it actually makes better sense and the vise on it is bolted down. But I find myself needing the bigger table more for setting up the chop saw on or setting up weld jobs on. I keep it fairly clean so I can measure out and draw a project on. I keep the slag knocked off so steel sits flat and square (because I can screw up a project bad enough without the help)...ok, you talked me into it...

Afternoon Everyone !!!

Just got back from doing some errands and looked at the odometer on my truck and can't believe that I've got 68k on my truck now !!

Me too.
In the Navy we used this stuff called "red lead" paint. nasty smelling but damn it stuck to steel like nobody's business as long as it was bare metal. yep we use to grind and chip the old stuff all day long.

I'll be making it. I've been rolling around some ideas. Whatever I come up with in design, it has to be new parts unless I can get them for free. I've already thrown out the idea of using a jack (for now) and have gone to an "S" cam. Less moving parts and it'll tuck up underneath the table better.

Aw man. I hope they get a handle on it.

I wish I would have thought of it. move the truck out of the garage. throw some mats down. borrow some goats. swipe the credit cards as they come thru the door.

I'm doing really well today , must have a very bad episode of CRS syndrome !!!

Just came back home after driving my Camaro without my wallet with me !!. Nothing like driving a car around that says " Hello Officer please pull me over " . I was playing around like I always do in the Camaro and when I got to the store I realized I didn't have my wallet

The drive home I was driving way to cautiously driving under the speed limit and driving by using my mirrors
