I agree, but not sure the 4.88's and trans would agree. But my 1/4 mile would be awesome until it wasn't again.

I'm almost sea level and today could barely break 5lbs. I'm thinking the belt is wearing or my actuator needs some tuning up as well.

At 6k feet in Colorado Springs I was getting 4.5-5psi. 5 on a good day but not very often. That’s with the 2.85 stealth pulley.

Oh and at one point I had a dirty ass air filter and my boost had dropped to 2-3. Don’t know why I decided to clean it one day but that definitely helped wake the truck back up

    Agree to smaller pulley!

Whoa!!!! You said the plugs installed are 1/4" shorter?!!!!! Dude that can have huge effects!

First off you lose compression because you now have larger cylinder volume. Second, how do you plan on the flame front from the spark plug to travel in any sort of optimized manner when the spark is stuck up in a hole?

Damn! You fuel mileage must be shit too!

Get that fixed and reset the ecu! Also be careful threading in the new plugs, then report back. I'm pretty certain it will be a whole new beast!

Yeah, I feel pretty damn stupid! Not sure where in the heck I got that cross reference from. But shit be wrong! Thinking I wanna swap the plugs before the ucon goes in. Just to prove to myself I am totally retarded. And yes, my mileage has been horrible for quite awhile. But I remember when I swapped plugs I definitely didn't get an increase at all. Might have even gone down. But to put it this way, I have only gotten 200 miles to a tank like 5 or 6 times and that is when it was lots of slow offroad exploring.

Dont beat on yourself, just learn! Yes, change to the proper plugs before installing the UCON.
You have to introduce things one at a time to eliminate variables.
Report back how it goes and if you remove the sc check the bypass valve and add clamp the lines.

200 miles to the tank is what I get on my 10psi regular blower at sea level. Lol. It's trash mileage no matter what way I look at it.

Dude don't overthink this. I had no idea elevation was a factor but you will be at around 3 to 4 psi max while you are that high in elevation. Check your bypass hose line and get a smaller ID hose if it is loose fitting like mine was. Additionally get your plugs fixed if they are incorrect. Finally, get a 2.5 qwikchange and run it. You can afford the smaller pulley due to elevation difference in sea level. Hell I am at sea level and I can afford it (of course I run FPR mod because I don't want to max out injectors, but I digress)! Report back AFR's after a few WOT runs.

After installing the new pulley that should get you to at least 6 or 7 psi.

I was still getting 8 to 8.5 psi at 6500 to 7000ft going through Flagstaff. That's with a 2.5, intake, and full exhaust. I am between 10 and 11 at 1000ft.

    Afternoon gents,

Anyone in here have some tips for wiring up AEM boost and Fuel pressure gauges, without having to cut factory wiring? i have a decent amount of wiring experience with other things, but gauges are new to me.. im assuming a fuse tap would be my best bet? I dont care if the gauges dont dim at night, but if there is a way to do this without cutting factory wiring, that would be great. If a fuse tap would be the best option, which one would be the best one to use?

My aem gauges just needed power and ground. And the gauge did everything else. They have built in sensors that change brightness with how bright it is.

I used a mini fuse tap and tapped into the power windows in the mini fuse box box behind the coin holder. I also used the window washer motor I believe. I can run out and take a quick pic if you need. Main thing is you need ac power hot, so only power while the truck is on....I did run one of my gauges out to my main fuse box under my hood too.

NO taps! I used my ignition switch wiring and a good ground for it.

Best design I have seen for a gauge thus far. Simple and it works. I love my X Series gauge ten fold.

I thought he meant accessory hot (ac) not alternating current. :D
