Oh there will be some mods all right
Cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor with help from the great write-up on here. Wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be.

Tried today but could not adjust the preload on my damn king 2.5” extended travel coilovers with 700lbs springs to save my life. Used silicon spray. Tried mounted On the truck, bottom bolt only undone, top bolts only undone, off the truck with a vice, all tried using a Fox coilover adjustment tool after loosening the collar bolt. Gah!:frusty:

Anybody know a good off-road shop that works on Tacomas or a fellow TW member within 1000 miles of Milwaukee? I will fucking drive to someone who knows what they are doing. I have had no luck with the few shops I tried. They scratched their heads, said they didn’t know what I was talking about, but could try. I said thanks but no thanks.

    Anybody?

Re-fabbed my fridge slide I built for my FZJ80 to mount in the bed of my Taco. Wired it all up. I hope my fridge doesn't get ruined from rain even though I'll have my softopper on.

Does this setup equate to more lift than the TRD Baja kit, or the same amount? Wondering how much tire I can run with the TRD Baja and rear Icon AAL. Are you cab mount chopped with the 17x8.5 and 285/70s? I’m about to pick up some SCS F5s in this figment and can’t decide on tire size...

Got the bumper and winch on. Ran into a couple small setbacks but we got everything done in about 5 hours. Real happy about how it turned out!

One of the mounting brackets on the squadron sports seized up (the ones to mount it in the factory holes). We dremelled off the bolt head to no avail... he’s gonna do some work on it and try to extract it. Hopefully I can get those in without having to buy a replacement.

Looks great. Did you get the BD light bar for your bumper? I’d like to know how it is before dropping 500 bones.

Thanks! Yep, against my better judgement haha. I will test it in the dark as soon as I can and let you know.

You can add a mirror and run a temp sensor via this guy

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...for-the-2009-15-tacomas-other-toyotas.328083/
I'd back off the nut on those rear shocks. You really only need 1/4"-3/8" of thread showing. Those rubber bushings are way too compressed.
Buy this. You can use it on the truck to compress the coils and adjust the preload.
