So here's the rub. My wife booked us to go to Helen, GA for Oktoberfest on this particular weekend. I'm trying to talk her into the NEXT weekend so I can do both. More to follow.

    Well hell yea!

:gossip: You’re going to miss half the fun at camp. There is a hotel just down the road though. Look forward to meeting you either way.

It all depends on the girlfriend. If shes along, it'll be a hotel or home. Probably home since shes just starting Law School. If it's just me I could probably be fine sleeping in the front seat of my truck as long as it's not too hot haha

Shouldn't be hot, and I could probably get a tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad you could borrow if you're so inclined.

Is anyone else going to bring their kids? I'll have mine this weekend. She likes to get out and wheel but a full weekend if it may be a little much unless there are some other kids to play with at camp

I've actually been quite pleased with my 4 season 2 man tent from Walmart.. It was only like $40. Worked well in the downpour we had during LBL. Add a $20 sleeping bag, and maybe a floor mat and you're set. I use a cot so I don't have to worry about rocky ground, but that bitch barely fits in my tent. Oh and don't forget a ground mat.. or whatever the heck it's called.

Cot FTW. No way would I go back to ground sleeping now that I've gotten a couple cots.

Are they as comfy as an air mattress? I love my mattress/bag setup for comfort, just don’t enjoy the setup.

As long as you don’t roll around in your sleep you’re good. I strongly prefer my cot over the air mattress now and I used to be all about the air mattress
