    For anyone that cares, I replaced the map lights in my tacoma with meso’s “lasers” and they’re incredibly bright.

    I also have an 02 Camry that’s my commuter. I Used one of the Camry maps last night and thought, “that lens looks a lot like the one that came in my tacoma”. So I grabbed the old tacoma lens, popped out the Camry lens and popped the tacoma lens in, it’s an exact match. Held side by side, I can’t find a difference. The pic below shows tacoma lens on the left. Have to imagine this lens has been used in other Toyota models between these years...

    Toyota made a lot of interchangeable overhead console parts for those model years. Pretty sure the 4th gen 4runner 03-09 is same as 2nd gen maps too. As well as the corresponding Highlander.

    Ultimately I am going to use an RGB, or even a dual color emitter so the entire panel will be the same color. But I am still working on a custom PCB board and circuitry..so this is the next best thing until that time.

    True. I just need to sit down and punch in OEM part numbers to get a cross-reference chart.
