Ain’t like that at all, which cracks me up. We just try to be better people, help out in our communities, and help each other out. Lots of civic, personal, moral, and ethical responsibility based around some very old precepts. No world orders, no secret governments, and no treasure we’re hiding from Nicholas Cage.

It’s a lot like the fellowship of TacomaWorld, but better dressed and indoors.

My boyfriend hasn't been to his lodge recently(still pays dues)because he feels like they don't do enough for their community while they always seem to be fundraising. He has considered visiting other lodges in the area to see if he can find one he enjoys more as he believes in what they should be standing for.

 

Our lodge has gained a lot of members from other lodges, but I think that’s mostly convenience - folks moved and we were closer. Still, it’s an active lodge that has a lot of outreach, especially at St. David’s hospital. We also have brothers that are members of multiple lodges, our favorite being Tranquility Lodge, the one started by Buzz Aldrin and technically still on the moon!
