Calling All TW First Responder HEROES!

As a Veteran (4 years U.S.A.F; 1985-1989) and retired police officer of 13 years for Newport Beach (1990-2003), I would love to connect with other First Responder HERO Taco Owners and set up a meetup. Check out some rigs and meet some great people!

If there is enough of an interest for a meetup specific to TW HEROES, I'd love to run with it and create a TW HERO monthly meetup.

Let me know what you think and lets make this happen.

You are correct about that

I hope it does as well. Really not trying to eliminate any of the amazing people who are part of TW and not a First Responder (active/retired). I just think it would be a great group to get together because we have a lot in common, including our Tacos!

If this can gain traction and turn into a great core group, I'll get a logo made (TW HERO) and get some decals and/or shirts made up. It can really be a cool thing and we all know military, cops and fireman all love trucks! lol

I am usually the one that ends up in the shiny bracelets.
@JandAOffRoad I am not a member of the armed forces or a veteran of one, nor am I a police or the like... just a citizen that respects the job, but usually the suspect.
Last week I was in cuffs and in the back of a squad car. but kind of my fault for walking past 2 sqaud cars on to a potential crime scene to go to the backyard.

 

Interested, although likelihood of me being able to show up is low with my rotating between days and nights and heavy overtime schedule
but if all the stars line up and I have a rare day off when one of these happens I'll be there

For those of you that wear the green and the blue, thank you all for your service. I hope every one of you makes it home to your families safely.

 

Sounds great and I remember those days..I was a K9 handler for 5 years, so lots of call outs and much longer shifts than the normal 10-12 hour days.

Looking forward to seeing the group grow over the next few weeks and then set something up.
