Wait tracker motor? I think you mean Trooper. And yeah, that Isuzu 3.5 has lots more power, but the 5vz has significantly fewer problems.

Those 60° V6s are easy to work on, my buddy and I rebuild a 2.8 and a 3.4... both carbureted with some mods haha. But they are heavy little fuckers, like serious weight for such tiny motors.

Chevy Tracker and Isuzu Trooper both got it among other engine options as well

4bt without trans is 730 lbs, you're thinking of the 6bt

Here’s where I ended up tonight on front bumper. Was slow going. Lots to consider.

Simple, understated, like a towelbar with a winch. Seriously though, looks like the beginnings of a beefy bumper, did you make the baseplate?

Yeah very easy to work on. My buddy's snapped a timing chain on the highway. Towed it back to his house and replaced it in about an hour. Almost as easy as working on a 22re. For the longest time I thought it was carburated, finally took the air cleaner off and realized it was tbi.

Ahh, didn't realize the Tracker got the 3.5.

Oh no that’s the only thing I haven’t made so far. I had an extra laying around to I utilized it. It’s only 1/8”, I wanted to make me own from 1/4”. But it should still be plenty strong
