I accidentally found out they love Glenffidich 14 year

 

Yeah it was actually a fairly easy drive! First day was Somerville (3pm) to Middletown, NY. Then the second day was the long one, Middletown, NY to Radford, VA. And the last day was Radford, VA to Lebanon, TN (3pm). From there we had a quick 30min drive in to Nasvhille to meet the movers on the morning of the 1st.

You'd think after 22 hours and 1200mi in my truck that I'd be tired of driving my truck, but I'm really not!

And I miss y'all too. Kinda weird to not be in Boston anymore, hasn't fully sunk in yet. I'm used to moving around, but I'd lived there for 7 years.

I’ll take a look at one. I haven’t done my research into them yet. I like the idea of having relays built in but worried because each one might have a different trigger. Putting all the relays in one spot might add a lot of unnecessary wiring.

Actually not bad. Still ~17 mpg according to my handy and nerdtacular spreadsheet. Last 3 rows are my fillups on the way down.

Hit some good rain/ windstorms on the way down and it sure felt like I was driving a sailboat. Always a good time at 4am.

 

I guess I have something in common with a fruit fly

 

It's an 08 so no chipped key.

 

Sailboat driving would probably slow me down and improve my mpgs a bunch, but dam doesn't it suck getting pushed around by the wind when driving.

 

Not sure what they used but it could have a similar system. My 2006 Chevy had the PassLok and you'd never know it to look at the key.

That system was known to be intermittently troublesome, never did it to me but wouldn't hurt to look into..

 

Try this https://dynatrap.com find what you need and buy off Amazon, much cheaper. I bought a full acre for outside and a little 1 for inside, they work awesome! It takes a good month for the outside 1 to start making a difference but my yard has been bug free since June and I started using mine mid April. It's very important to read directions, in other words it needs to be left on 24 hours a day.

 

Who knows. At this point I think we're just going to get a new car anyway. This one is starting to give us too many small problems that are adding up.

Any of you guys looking for a cap, check out Capworld in Norwood. I keep an eye on their clearance section, hoping something will pop up for my truck, and they have a lot of Tacoma bed covers. There's even a white short bed ARE cap for 400, including install!

Hell yeah, that’s really cheap for a nice cap. It’s the ARE MX series, like the one I had on my truck. They only have a small picture, but it looks to be in good shape. They also have a few other hard tonneau covers for a Tacoma also.
