Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

Turns out I missed exactly 100 pages starting on page 626. Let's do this.

I missed exactly 100 pages of this thread while I went half-AWOL for 48 hours after my flight from the Philippines. I apologize in advance for this wall of text of replies dating from page 626 to 727. It took me almost two hours to go through it all.

No, I don't value my time.

Very good guess. I was on Philippine Airlines flight PR104 - which left about two hours later since I was delayed 90 minutes. I was waiting in the same gate as PR114.

It's funny. That video was shot in the Cagayan province of Northern Luzon. I actually drove through the port where that happened. There are hundreds if not thousands of abandoned illegally imported cars like that sitting in seizure yards along this highway that I drove through. It went for miles. It's surreal seeing Lamborghinis and Bugattis abandoned in a dirt lot surrounded by five foot weeds.
@what road When I put in my HID retrofits, the high beam indicator didn't work either. I used this module to make it work again: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQ4F1MY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

$2,400 a year!? I pay $25,000 a year for housing in the outskirts of San Francisco. And that is considered cheap for living in the city. I have four roommates, although I have my own room in a shared condo.
I would've taken my truck onto the beach to unload my grill, tent, and cooler yesterday when I went to Santa Cruz. Unfortunately, there's only a couple of beaches in the whole state where you can drive onto the sand.
If I bought that Federal Signal siren and lighting system, I could've achieved the same thing as a Switch Pro for a fraction of the price. Plus I have all the police interceptor functions. I am considering it since my dumbass bought Whelen strobe lights.
Fuck me. How are you still alive?
No fucking clue what gear ratio my 5-Lug has, but my PreRunner is 4.30 - if I find a good deal on a set of axles with the e-locker I want to go up to 4.56. Did Toyota ever make a 4.88 e-locker?

What's wrong with your 2nd Gen wheels? I'm running my 3rd Gen OR wheels just fine with very very minimal rubbing on the UCA at full lock.

If you tell me what gear ratio and gear code the 3rd member will be, I can pull one from a 4Runner which are plentiful. I am guessing another 5-lug diff won't be useful.
Me. Before this website it was Reddit.
My Tacoma and I became a running joke at my high school. I used to anchor the news show every now and then, and I'd always find a Tacoma joke written into the script. If I have the motivation, I'll make a compilation off the archives and post it here.
I am going to assume you used the EXIF data off the file, otherwise that's just creepy. Haha.
God, if only I ever took my truck off-road...

Are you not getting the 4x4 frame!? It's free, godammit! People in the Mid-West will literally kill you to get a clean 4x4 frame like that. Did I mention it's free.
If I can catch up on the 100 plus pages of this thread that I missed, you sure can do the same.
4x4 trucks in California are very very very very VERY rare. I have probably seen more than 100 different 5-Lug Tacomas at various junkyards over the last three years. But not a single 4x4 Tacoma. I had to drive into Nevada to buy most of my 4x4 components since they're rare and expensive here.
What the fuck is going on with that cab? It's like someone grafted the sleeper portion of a Semi-Trailer onto it.
Jeez what did you do. I have never been pulled over before.

This truck doesn't go fast enough to get a speeding ticket, anyway.
    You'll thank me later: http://www.hfqpdb.com/
Heh. Me too. I have a beautiful Miller 180 MIG that I restored, and a complete set of Relentless Fabrication armor sitting in my garage. I am just not confident enough in my welding to get it all assembled.

Jesus Christ man. Are you good?
I have never been in the public school system. I had a great high school experience free of issue. I was just a lazy fucking shit and didn't do most of my homework. For example, I rented the teacher's edition of my Spanish 2 textbook so I had all the answers. Did the same thing for Pre-Algebra in 8th grade.

I went to a private K-8, and a private high school. First time I'll be in the public system will be when I start at SFSU. It's going to be different going from a K-8 with 200 kids total, and a high school with about 1,200 kids to a university with 29,000. I was going to go to Saint Mary's in Moraga with about 8,000 people, but it's a liberal arts school and I'd have to spend two years at the University of Chicago for my Computer Engineering major. So I chose SFSU instead.
I BS'd my way through high school. I by no means was one of those popular kids, but I was involved enough to make a lot of friends. I even BD's my way to being the president of my graduating class.
If I ever build my own house, it's getting three phase.

And I'm running a fiber line directly to my house because if it comes to a point where I have enough money to afford building a house and affording land in Northern California, I'd be a millionaire already.

Jeez. My house was built in 2005. You should replace that knob and tube with Romex. That shit sounds like a fire waiting to happen.

I slept 18 hours after my flight from Manila. I woke up at 3 PM, haha.
    Yes. Exactly this.
Surprisingly, the HOA did not send us a notice for my two truck beds, disassembled 5-lug, and abandoned and dusty Honda Civic in my driveway.
I have run out of gas in the 5-lug more times than I'd like to say.
Rubbing Compound, and Polishing Compound. I used it to restore the cluster lens I bought for my 5-lug which was cloudy and scratched. It's very similar to restoring headlights.
Would you like glass shards in your face during an accident?
    Fuck you.
    Probably sleeping. Why?

    I hate you.
I am going to commit Sudoku.

2nd gen offroad rims sit about a 1/4" or so closer than 3rd gen rims. I went from 3rd gen SR5 wheels to 2nd gen TRD off road wheels and I cant get my finger between the tire and knuckle whereas I could on my 3rd gen wheels. I definitely could not go up to a 265-75, but I think I could if I stick my 3rd gen rims back on.

Dude this is so late, but oh well. I have a 2014 second generation 4 banger1533482773897-1066478309.jpg

But all my buddies drive 1st Gen 4 bangers. They aren't too mechanically inclined so I end up doing all their work for them

It's more the weight than anything...I'm already pushing 55lbs per tire with the KO2s if I go up to 33s without going skinnier it's going to kill my DD mileage even more (already at <15 mpg).

Either than or I don't go skinny and switch from E to C rated instead, but that's hard for me to do given how I've never once had a tire issue on a trail.
