Our entire back yard was covered in large live oaks, I’ve cut 12 down, oak wilt. I’ve now got three large ones in the front to come down, treatment was 25% successful.

Oak wilt destroyed all my mom's trees. The company that treated them gave her a warranty, now he is replanting other trees.

Christ, 12 pages. Well, I bought mine last year in June. If its above 75 I run the ac. This makes two seasons and with the temps near 100 lately it stays on speed 3 or 4. Yesterday it was on high most of the time I was in it because somehow I got poison ivy or oak (last time around either was two weeks ago).

I also don't suffer from any of the other issues that plagued the turd gens. I guess I got lucky. Mines not perfect though. The tranny still hunts a little but I've learned how to drive it to help that, and the passenger seat side bolster closest to the door has a very annoying squeak from the fabic/foam or whatever rubbing against something in there, possibly the air bag??? It's not enough of an issue for me to leave it at the dealership while they try to figure it out only to tell me there is no resolution.

At the end of the day, it's a truck.

 

Probably 100%, not dumping any more money at it, rather spend money on new trees. It only takes 30% canopy loss from oak wilt to kill a tree, the ones that seem to be living were probably not native, but planted.

 

I've seen those lines through the names before. That means they are banned?

My guess is like you stated, they have never heard the term rev limiter. They also prolly think that with enough room they can go faster than the speedo indicates.
