Removing the linoleum from the concrete is gonna be a time consuming task in itself I would think. If you need to keep the bathroom functional. you could score the lineolum and rip it up one strip at a time, cleaning up all the glue as you go. Cut around the toilet too. Then when it's all up, all you gotta do is remove the toilet and take up that last little piece before you tile and you can have your toilet back down in a day or two.

Actually it has not been difficult. Comes up in a single sheet with a floor scraper. Thats probably been one of the easiests parts of the previous reno.
I removed the linoleum in the kitchen and entryway to replace with the wood.

I had the same when I bought my house, along with pink tile. The tub was the same color as the toilet. I ripped the whole nightmare out...

J/K looks good. I prefer two doors as one makes a garage look small.

Counter tops being installed tomorrow afternoon. My wife wanted to change from a double sink to a single. Planned on doing the plumbing myself but now with the change to a single drain, I want to make sure I connect everything correctly so I don't have problems. Will be connecting a disposal and dishwasher. Been looking for videos but everything seems to be for double sinks like I have now. Here's the current set-up.

    20180805_113000 (1).jpg

Can I just cap off at the top of the "T" fitting where the second sink drain is now (the drain on the left)? If so, then I could just shorten the pipe coming from the disposal into the "T" fitting.

    Comments welcome!

Is that block of wood holding up the P-Trap?

I am a little concerned about the un-capped santee on the main drain pipe.

The most important thing is to have a functional trap. I would make sure it's below the disposal level. Beyond that, there would be several ways to plumb it. All would probably be acceptable

No, don't know why the wood is in there...

"I am a little concerned about the un-capped santee on the main drain pipe." Put this in simple English for me, no idea what a santee is.

The middle Tee on that stack of nonsense is uncapped, or maybe it has some sort of plug in it..? I would rip all of that shit out of there and start over once the new sink is in.

1.) PVC and PVC cement are CHEAP, and EASY to do. They aren't meant to be modified, their meant to be chopped out, and re-plumbed in this type of situation.
2.) Your AAV/Studor vent should be higher if you can get it up closer to the bottom of the countertop.
3.) You'll have less clutter and (tees!) if you re plumb it.

If you're not confident in doing it, hire someone to cut all that junk out of there and re plumb it cleanly.

Santee is short for Sanitary fitting ^^^

Do you have access to that pipping from under the house? If so that mess needs to go.

Yeah. That's how the builder plumbed it when the house was built. It can all go and I'll start from scratch.

    Thanks guys.

Looking good. How did you repair the wainscoting damage? That glue is the reason I’ve put off removing mine for so long.
