Idk I think they are equal. People around the world turn to land old land rivers or land cruisers when they explore.

Depends on which models, the defender, yeah...

The complaints from people that own other Land Rovers though that try to do the whole Expo/Overland thing with them and get disappointed by them breaking so often is almost comical

Will regearing help? That sounds super expensive. I would probably ditch the sc with those gas prices. Or is the meth kit the work around to run regular unleaded?

    which ones are you getting?

    ordered a set yesterday :annoyed:

The 110 is race gas (likely leaded too), he only needs regular premium 91 at the minimum. But with meth you can bring that 91 up to a healthy 126 haha, to get that extra bang out of it.

Gotcha. I can only run 91 on my sc jetski as well, its expensive. There is a gas station near me that has 110 octane i would like to try, but for @eon_blue it sounds expensive to run a sc on a daily. I guess i cant blame him for running the skinnies

His MPG seems a little suspect though anyway. I know a couple people that were dipping that low with heavier truck that were both able to gain it all back up to 18-19mpg after some maintenance. The SC only causes you to have bad MPG if you keep your foot in it constantly, it should hardly do anything besides idle during most wheeling

Again, suspect, also you're young I know how you drive mr. 2 strikes. The 5VZ isn't bad on gas but toyota lets it fall out of spec quite a bit before it throws a code

Oh hell no lol, if I had to run 110 octane at $10/gallon I'd ditch the blower for sure...it's not that fun. Even $4/gallon for 91 is pushing it but my commute isn't bad at all (~15 miles a day) so I put up with it.
