Are you really in the boost that much on the road. I can stay out of it for pretty much all of my driving if I need to. You might need some gears if you're pushing the pedal that much haha

Yeah I've been trying to figure it out for a long time but somewhat given up. I drive like a grandma for the most part especially since its mostly city driving for me now during the week. When I first got this truck (no mods, just the supercharger) I was averaging almost 20mpg on all highway trips, 18mpg otherwise.

Granted I've put a lot more weight on it since then so I guess 15mpg when I'm going mostly stop and go traffic to and from work isn't all that unexpected. And when I'm doing long freeway trips it's usually with a fully loaded bed to a camping spot.

I think you've got some maintenance to do then. You don't have a huge amount of weight or particularly large tires. I think it's time to have a look at some fuel trims and maf flow numbers.

I've been wondering about the Walboro pump that got put in with the 7th kit, I know they are notoriously noisy but it concerns me about it's performance.

MAF sensor is new as of 2 years ago, replaced by Toyota. Same with my 02 and a/f sensors (chasing a P0171 code early on). Spark plugs are new with the 7th kit...feels like all the basic maintenance that would equate to bad MPGs is ruled out so I should start looking into more complex causes. Maybe dirty injectors, I dunno.

oh and I'm fairly certain the big round LED lights on the roof rack are essentially creating an air brake on the top of my truck, so that doesn't help lol.

I'm not a fan of roof light bars TBH....I'm one of the haters lol. Not because they necessarily look bad but because here in SoCal especially, everyone with a truck has one. But I have been thinking of taking them off just to see, plus the wiring harness they're hooked into is on the fritz again so I need to redo it with a new harness I've got sitting in my storage anyway.

@Speedytech7 one of these days I'm going to use the 7th software to see where my trims and detailed AFRs are at which will probably help me narrow down any issues I'm having...but I need a damn laptop capable of using their software. Got a Mac and I know there's a way to use Windows on it but I haven't given it the time to figure it out yet. Think I have to purchase an older version of Windows to install as well.
