I have been going to Pismo from last few years at least 2 to 3 times a year and never had any issues with drunk drivers. Yes, that place does get crowded during long weekends and summer, especially around the beach area, but recreational area is huge and you can camp in a secluded area. Most of the people who get hurt are due to their own mistakes, but if you take it easy you will have a blast. Best thing about Pismo is that there is no quiet time. If you want to hit dunes at 12 at night you can.

Got the 2 puppies to a vet, then home.the kids have picked out which dog they want. Which means in a week I'll be stuck walking all of them..theyre pretty funny to watch play with the other dogs tho. They're both just big paws with lil bodies bouncing around being chased by a wiener dog.

Likewise! (Only used that word because not many do). Even though my visit was short I had a great BS session. Always look forward to an other chance for it.
