To be honest I do not know much Relentless off road products and it look like they make great products also. The only visual different is the RCI has the bent wing prop nut hold down for slightly quicker release. Otherwise they look similar and have a similar price point.

Reason I bought the RCI version is I have their rock sliders, and several pieces of their under-truck armor. They make great products and customer service is great so I like staying with the same maker of aftermarket Tacoma components.

Looks great on the truck. I’m considering their cab rack but my I ask what the PITA part(s) was about the install?

Re-Wrapped the hood with matte black vinyl. I extended the new wrap to the larger body line on the hood. I n Ed to order vinyl for doing the roof next.

The access cab doesn’t have the threads built into the roof along the rails so you have to drill through the roof and add the installation nuts. You have a double cab so the threads will already be there. Should be a relatively easy install for you.

That’s good to know. Yeah. I’ve said this before but sometimes it’s not the items that are the most expensive that are the best. They are the most expensive for the name, not the quality of the product. I’m glad I haven’t purchased the other kit then. Thank You!

I've been looking for a better way to carry my bikes that wasn't a bulky annoying option, and came up with this. It works pretty great. Let me know what you think.

    Parts:
Amazon: Toyota Genuine Accessories PT278-35100-BH Truck Bed Header Rail
Amazon: Top Line AB2600 Add-A-Bike Clamp
Amazon: RockyMounts LoBall Track Locking Truck Mount

I mounted the header bar using extra strength 3m tape. also drilled holes into the tonneau and screwed and epoxied in some plastic sheetrock anchors to screw the header down with. Feels pretty damn solid.

Haven't done much with my 3rd Gen lately.....other than enjoying driving it daily.

    Super truck for me.

This afternoon it's getting used as a place to hold my grilling gear and also a convenient spot to plop down and sit a few minutes and enjoy some outdoor tunes, grill smoke and a cold one.

well the clearance issues i had are fixed.

and the exhaust flows better. I'm planning to reflash my OV file to put it back in ecu learning... it may change the throttle response some, not yet sure. but the throttle response is better.

all good, but the only minor issue to come up is the exhaust note above 3k... not working for me at all. the low rumble from the TRD exhaust is gone after removing the cats, and what's left is the typical v6 buzz. pretty awful if you ask me. it doesn't drone and it's not loud, but the buzz is there. I'll be doing a new muffler of some kind soon, whatever it takes.

I justed installed the URD mk2 y-pipe to my existing BORLA cat-back and any rpm range beyond 3000 upon accelerating hard can get on my nerves some times. I don’t feel like it’s drone’ish just much louder.

Are you running a similar set-up as mine by chance? Thanks.
