I've taken the wilderness first aid a couple times, well worth it. I never had the time available to do the WFR, I'm sure it will be worth your time and money.

I’ve also done the wilderness first aid course, luckily it was cheaper since I did it through my school. But I thought it was very worth it. First responder is probably even better. Im sure it’s dependent on the instructor but I felt comfortable with the knowledge I gained in that class. Mostly how to assess a situation, handle broken bones and head/neck injuries in the backcountry. I’m sure you will go into a lot more detail with your class.

Fallon Toyota sucks. I've dealt with their service dept for my wife's F150, typical factory dealership bullshit, but worse. And they take their sweet f-ing time at everything. KD automotive is who I take my bigger stuff too. They are good, but they are really busy and they are usually booked out for a week or two. I've got a 30x30 shop, don't have the ac hooked up yet though, so it gets a little warm in there. I'll be around next sunday, but then not again until the weekend of the 25th. Or if you take it to Fallon Toyota, I'll drink beer in their parking lot.

Fortunately it's not the DD so I can pick and choose the right shop to do the job. There is the driveline shop in town are they any good? Thanks for the offer with your shop but I really don't want to tie you up with this job on your off time.

My work always takes stuff the Drive Line and Gear Services. They seem to do solid work with a reasonable price and time frame.

But will they actually pull the brakes and axle and all that or do you need to pull everything out and take it to them to press?

    ...too much shit to list.
X2 on Sparks Driveline and Gear.
They are a bit hit and miss tho. I’ve had great service cheap and meh service pricey before. They’ve retubed, shortened, balanced a few driveshafts for me as well as installed a locker and did some gear work for me.

They will work on the loose axle or remove it for you, just more labor when they have to pull the axle.

I can press a new bearing in for ya but removing the old bearing is a CUNT. I’d have to build a tool to pull the old bearing from the axle which I never did since I said fuck it and did the disk swap.
