Looking really good man. You decide on going 35's?

Yes, 35's are in the near future but recently had some stuff come up that has relocated funds to do so. I'd like to have all duck in a row ready for rear gearing, trimming, and installation before I pull the trigger. Soon...

sweet truck man! the pyrite is such a slick colour. When I cut for my high clearance I didn't even take the flares off haha. worked out alright! it's not perfect either, but I don't really care that much any way.

What are you going to regear to? I'm on 35's but still stock gearing. Will be putting in 4.88s when I can eventually hopefully afford it.

Thanks. I’ll probably go 4.56s but am still open to options. I have new fenders in the garage that I need to get painted and recut so that should be soon. How does the truck feel with stock gearing and 35s?

The truck definitely lacks pep. She's a slow go up hills for sure. I've never been one to care about going fast or accelerating hard, so it doesn't bug me all that much, but I could see it being painful for those used to having a bit more power. However, I am definitely looking forward to regearing!

I don’t care to accelerate fast but it is nice to be able to pass someone on the freeway and cruise at 75mph.

Depends on rpm. Accelerates just as good at certain rpm ranges. We don't have any roads here that have that high of a limit. Max is usually 100kmh, so like 60mph.

Truck looks awesome. Would you buy the 295 KO2 again if you weren't changing sizes? I want something a little beefier than my 285 75 16 the next go around and it looks like that's really my only option for the 16" short of making the big jump to 35's.

Thank you. Yes, if I weren’t bumping up t 35s I would get the 295 every time. Not only is it a proper 33”, it’s just a little beefier than others that I know with 285s. It may require a tad more trimming and an alignment with a lot of caster, but totally worth it.

Well in a random turn of events (wasn't completely expecting this to happen), I sold the truck. Got a good price for it and have been wanting to build a Land Cruiser for some time so figured I'd give that a shot. I haven't purchased the Cruiser yet so maybe that will help but, I miss the Tacoma BAD. Ha!
