Well final piece of the lift (soon to be installed) finally came together this afternoon. Custom leaf pack. I cut up a fairly new leaf pack to make my 3 leaf into a 5 leaf. Leaving in the overload leaf. 2” blocks are coming out

Got all my holes drilled ( I know, can’t believe it. ) Some helpful drilling techniques explained in a couple of hot rod forums. So every leaf will have its own shims and anti-squeak pads. Hopefully it will yield the same lift as the 2” blocks.

No, it's not that often that I seen that kind of warning go out. Western MA I think ends up with them a bit more (@js312, @DrFunker, @Bridge4, & @tacobell007 would know better)

Most of them guys are in the mountains. We have had them in West Springfield, Springfield, Westfield, Holyoke, and travel out to Palmer/Monson. They like the Connecticut River Valley area though

My place is run by idiots. While I was gone, they forced OT on a few departments. Without getting into detail about my job, it would be like forcing the faucet in your sink to do OT, then giving the drain the day off. Then they can't understand why the place is a mess.

 

Morning everyone. Happy Monday. Back to the grind... but for only half a day for me since I'm taking the rest of the week off!

Going to Sesame Street Place with a buddy of mine who has a 2 year old son.

 

Sometime this month we are hitting one year of manditory OT, just in our department though. Even though there's other people who do the same role in other depsdepartm and we all get paid the same


Oh well. Better to have it than not , right ?

 

I've never met a business owner who likes to pay OT. Most don't really make any profit when they have to do that, at least from my limited understanding. You would think your boss' would just hire a few more people?

 

Contracts are over 20 years out. We are bound by square footage of the facility. The books are completely transparent but the demand is so high everyone pays it. We essentially run on hours. Instead of tangible money here.

 

Morning guys. I bought a programmer for the Jeep, it allows me to change tire size, eliminate the seatbelt chime, pick what I run for drl, keep fogs on with highbeams, backup camera on with directional, use the nav while driving, turn off the auto start/stop and the traction control (I left that on). There is a bunch more but I am just playing around now. They come out with updates about once a month, I am trying to get them to enable lockers in 4high not just 4low

 

Sounds like a good business to be in I guess. As long as they are paying!
