For those who are CRK fans, I know I am, take a look at the Spartan Harsey Folder from Spartan Blades. It’s a Bill Harsey design executed flawlessly.

    They are both excellent folders.

How? I can’t figure out how to buy one of these. I’ve been waiting for them to become available. I’m about to give up and buy bags for my motorcycle.

One of my friends sent me a link to it. I really dig it. So much so, I bought one.

I recently picked up another Spartan Blades Spartan Harsey Folder.

    [IMG][IMG]

The SHF is a really great knife. Well designed, feels great in the hand. Everything you want in a folder.

Follow him on Facebook and Instagram he posts when pre orders will be coming .Which should be soon cause he said he just finished the last of the pre orders from December, which is when I ordered mine. I know when I picked it up since I'm in Toronto like him I talked to him for a bit as he said he was going to take a little break before doing another batch.

Definitely worth the money. So happy with it. Used it all weekend making feather sticks and for food prep and it still shaves. A2 holds an amazing edge.

    Definitely Chris Reeves, beautiful knives.

I just bought a used (NIB) one! It was some safe-queen. I’m gonna knock the new knife smell off that thing.

    kick ass dude.

i did some batoning with mine this weekend on some oak and white birch I found in the camp ground.
FINALLY after countless feather sticks and just beating on this knife to see how well its edge will hold it has one or two spots that don't shave cleanly like before but still can shave.

I just put a convex edge on it today to touch the edges up. Probably didn't need a sharpen but since I just got the convex rod for the KME figured I'd give it a shot, also got a pretty nice polished edge using a Spyderco ultrafine stone.

    Nice!

Glad to hear. I have an elk hunt coming in sept. It will be with me. Hopefully. Seller seemed legit. Hehe. I like your uncoated blade. The one I got has that blackened look. It might get ugly in a hurry. Dunno.

ya the satin finish like mine of the Resolute was the first batch of them. He never used to offer them satin finish only DLC coated.

I was actually talking to him about it as well, menitoned how I hate DLC because it shows scratches so much more and he said DLC is actually just as hard if not harder than the A2 steel so it is not actually scratched but that is often left over bits of metal or whatever you were cutting and he said using something like Flitz polish or any sort of metal polish should help remove most of it if not all of.

I'm just not a fan of black knives prefer satin finishes.
