My wife and I are going to see our daughter and grandkids in adamsville August 23-27. Can anybody recommend anything I should check out. We will be scouting out the area for possible retirement in a couple years.

You could drive the TN dirt devil. I don't have a lot of info, but plan on doing it. As far as I know it's light off road driving for the scenic stuff. I have no clue how close it will be. Some guy has taken the time to map the routing and is selling a map for $20. I understand it is about 200 miles of dirt roads with numerous creek crossings. I plan on doing some of it in the fall when it cools off and leaves start to change. YMMV.
