TW Mammoth Lakes Off Road trip July 27th - 29th

I have room for another truck or two at my spot if you are not able to reserve a spot. Gonna be crazy with all those Tacos this year, hope to see ya there.

 

It was crazy last year and we had half the trucks.

 

@TacoSauceHB you're the man!! It sounds super fun!!! Buuuuut..... I have work on one of the days so I cant 100% commit right now. I have to request it off or try and trade with someone. How much time do I have?

 

Imagine trying to do the group photo this year....

 

Until someone else needs a spot and ask me I guess lol sooner the better. These events are like a high school party..... nobody wants to go if its a small group, but as soon as they find out its big, everyone and their mother is dying to join in

 

I don’t know if we can do a photo this year! The runs are starting very early. Some are returning late. But I’m asking everyone to be in camp by 6pm on Saturday so we can have dinner, meet everyone and maybe play some games.
You know family reunion type stuff.

 

It might be better if we instead of a group shot, we do a roll through one truck at a time by the camera.

Or, we could have each group of trucks do a group photo before they depart.

Yea, I took this pano last year of our 2WD group. I think we had 15trucks on our run.

 

I didn't even realize you were in same group as me on that run haha. My truck was soo stock back then

Went back up for an overnight at laurel to fish with no luck but a good time. Next morning we left early cause it was blowing 30mph and at the bottom of the switch backs found a taco that ran into some problems but had bailled out to get a new tire and possibly new rim to replace on the trail.

 

Me, @dumontrider and Mr. Jeep lounged at June Lake the last day before we headed home. Perfect way to the end the trip.

 

I might join the Big Bear get together on saturday just for the day, i have some stuff to do on sunday, i probably ride my bike there and hit some trails. it will be nice to see you guys again.

 

I'm thinking about going, hope the 2wd stigma doesn't ruin me going on some fun runs. Looks like the runs in the OP are all booked up. Have to pay off this court case, bachelor party & wedding...September might be on credit cards lmao!
