Anybody else see these? I ordered a set, should be in late June.

    Method Race Wheels 701

Too often, a top-quality, good-looking wheel that’s race-proven around the globe is hard to find. Method Race Wheels debuted its new 701 wheel at Overland Expo. A new wheel isn’t that exciting, but the 701 is no ordinary wheel.

The Method Race 701 wheel is street legal and allows you to run extremely low air pressures for optimal off-road traction. The wheel has some special shapes that Method calls “bead grip technology.” These shapes create a bead lock wheel, without the traditional street-illegal bead lock design.

The 701s will cost $230 each and will be available in the fall in 16- and 17-inch options for a wide range of vehicles.

Honestly I was ready to pull the trigger on some Ray 10s. Once I saw the new SCS inventory refresh didn't include them I started looking around.
I figure if I have to wait 2 more months, I might as well get some new tech built in. At least I know Method will have them in stock and I have a decent chance of actually getting my hands on them.

Anyone happen to get these yet? I know they are saying late summer, but was just curious. Definitely like the minimalist non-fake-beadlock style. Also curious about the weight of each wheel.

I just ordered a set of the Method 701's. Lets see how long they take to come in. Also ordered a set of Shrock Works rock sliders. They will probably both take 8 weeks. :)

    I'm intrigued by these.

    Anyone know the offset/backspace specs?

I ordered from VividRacing.com. Believe it or not, 5 minutes ago I got my FedEx ship alert for delivery this Friday.

This is the exact model I got in Matte Black:
    https://www.vividracing.com/method-mr701-trail-series-matte-black-17x85-6x55-0mm-p-152407907.html
    17X8.5 | 6X5.5 | 0/4.75" Model: MR70178560500 (To be mated with an Icon Stage 3 setup.)

Nice looking, new tech wheel. What's up with that lame offset/ BS? 4.75? I'd like these a lot more if it didn't force youto run spacers. 4.5" still seems a bit tucked 4" would be better. Or at least they could offer options.

Otherwise, I really like what they offer in the way of a bead lock sim, and how they look.

Looks like 50mm offset is the only other option.

I definitely got my hopes up. Even though I almost immediately got my tracking numbers which showed a deliver date of today (8/3), they still just show "label created" with zero updates. So nothing has moved at all.

Just spoke to Method again today (8/6). They said they still don't have any to ship and neither do any vendors. Looking at mid-september.

    Darn.

I was hoping these would come in a 4” or 3.5” backspace option.
