it saw the sunlight for the first 2 years today. getting ready to pull the body and bed off.. frames being built by Toyota as we speak.. (old frame... hmm ideas. v12 long travel taco maybe?)

It drives fine drove on freeway like a champ no alignment needed i didn't loosen up the control arms . So is it good man o should i be concert about ubj's

Are you having an overheating problem?

 

I'm not used to having center caps so I decided to get some TuRD center caps cause they're flat. I call them turds cause they aren't made that well but at least they're not expensive.

Slapped them on, went go eat lunch, then came home. One of the damn caps fell off, not out of the wheel, the aluminum cap fell off the plastic base, it's only held on with double sided tape.

Back tracked hoping I would find the cap on the side of the road without much damage & not ran over. Got all the way back to where I ate & found the center cap sitting where I was parked & surprisingly without absolutely no damage at all. Got home & put it back on with some strong 3M double sided adhesive. That one for sure ain't falling off again, checked the others & they all seem fine. Could have just been unlucky with that one.

Anyways, I think they look good with my truck & wheel color combo. Thinking about blacking out the TRD logos.

Loose about 1/2-1'' of lift and never change a thing. Great truck.

 

Thanks. Yeah, you talking about the front right? It's been bugging the hell out of me. Sometimes it looks even, but most of the time it looks a bit higher. Just put on new coilovers last month, was hoping it would settle out but that hope is gone. And my Deavers are 12 yrs old, I'm assuming they're sagging already.

I just got an alignment a couple of weeks ago. Think it'll affect my camber a lot if I drop it down? If not, shit, I'll do it tomorrow.

 

should always get a new alignment if you tweak the ride height.

I think it looks a tad nose high but not by much. I like rake though so I like the front a bit lower, was setup from the factory like this too. I meant just in general if the truck was a touch lower it would look freaking killer. Least to me. Surely a bit less up front will make it look perfect even if its level or a touch of rake.

Yeah, that's why I haven't bothered to fix it yet, I've had four alignments in the past month. 2 of which cause the idiots at Sears couldn't get my alignment right, telling me I was maxed out on caster at 1.3°. I know my LCA bushings need to be replaced but still. They always got it right before. Last alignment was at Firestone & they set it back to 2.8-3.0°.

I'm just a bit tired of all the alignments I had to go in for. Trucks pretty much always come stock raked but I like even. I still have to eliminate the last bit of steering wheel play, got to do the steering column shaft fix. I guess I'll do that, level it out, & go back in for alignment. I've got the lifetime alignment at Firestone now & the one I go to actually knows what they're doing when I tell them the specs I need.

I guess the spacers explain the extra lift you're seeing there...plus if those photos were taken right after you installed the lift then it will settle down some in a day or two. Not a lot but a little bit.

With 3" of lift I would definitely be looking at getting aftermarket UCA's if I were you
